From the cab (Through the looking glass)

This is a live frame grab from the cab of one of our locomotives, it was snapped the second you loaded this page. Wherever that locomotive is sitting right now, you're seeing a snapshot from the cab. This is what we mean when we say You ARE the engineer!. We put you in the cab of your locomotive.

From your locomotive to the web, at up to 30 frames per second, with nothing else needed but a WiFi access point, perfect video and stills, viewable from anywhere in the world. Full color, day or night (down to moon light illumination levels with our IP-2061 low light camera), viewable in any web browser that supports Java or in the included Multimonitor program that supports multiple simultaneous cab views, full screen views and much more.

Stop looking at your railroad from 100 feet in the air and start looking at the way it really looks, from the train, the difference is profound and everything is much more realistic. When you operate your train via cab video the world changes, it opens up dramatically. You'll have a much better sense of the actual speed your train is traveling and distances that seemed too short before will seem much larger when you have a 1:29 scale view of the world. Trainvision is much more than the most advanced video system offered anywhere, it puts you in scale with your railroad.

We were tempted to code name it 'Alice'...
